She was trained at the University of Chicago Hospital and the Northwestern Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois as an anesthesiologist. She began learning acupuncture at UCLA, and then received extensive training in South Korea, Japan, Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Dr. Kim acquired the application of low level laser (laser) treatment that she combines with various types of acupuncture. While she has obtained a vast clinical experience in pain management through acupuncture treatment, she recently acquired the methods of low level laser acupuncture to her patients with various types of pain and ailment. Realizing that every patient reacts differently from the application of medical devices, she elects treatment options uniquely suitable for her particular patient by carefully diagnosing and consulting with her patient. Dr. Kim utilizes the following medical devices:
"A friend of mine had gone to an acupuncture specialist in Florida and recommended acupuncture treatment to stop smoking. I had tried everything else for many years and quite frankly I wish I would've seen Dr. Kim a long time ago. After just 1 acupuncture treatment I have successfully stopped smoking for 2 and a half years now."
